Artist's Comments
While working on an altered notebook, I would up with a scrap of cardstock from the cover pattern I used. I wound up using the scrap to test stamp-inks and pastels on to see what would work best for making my notebook look even more like worn, stained cement.
Then I realized it was in the right size and shape for a bookmark, and I prettied it up with a bit of pastel-applied graffiti that's been running through my head since I finished season two of Avatar. |
