That sunny dome ! those caves of ice !
And all who heard should see them there, And all should cry, Beware ! Beware ! His flashing eyes, his floating hair ! Weave a circle round him thrice, And close your eyes with holy dread, For he on honey-dew hath fed, And drunk the milk of Paradise. - "Kubla Khan", Samuel Taylor Coleridge --- Damn. I've been working on this piece off and on for the last few months. More off than on, really, since it's never really clicked with me in a way I was happy with. Been arranging and rearranging it for a while, until I got this configuration a couple of days ago. Then it was time to tweak the ice shaders. Finally got a decent render, pulled it into Paint Shop Pro and started working some post-working magic... And well, damn. I love this piece. Rendered in Daz|Studio with pwShader. Postworked in Paint Shop Pro X. --- Credits: Michael 3, Victoria3 and David morphs, Sylphiad Hair - DAZ Rocks - DAZ Dragon Lair freebie Michael 3 Revisited - PoserPros Armor of the Scrolls for M3 - Xurge @ Xurge3D Hero ~Dragon Sword~ - TT, Renderosity LM Magic Pose - Luciferino and Morrighan, Renderosity Comments
Oh, I bet you're so relieved to be done with it!
I like that the reds you used are so 'cool', it goes with the blues well. -- You paged Rodimus Prime with 'It's like a high school popularity contest. With people who have big cannons. And I'm the one that's gonna die.'. Rodimus Prime (RP) pages: That's the way things go when you get noticed. I really like this piece as it clearly stays clear of my idea of a bad digital piece. Theres no overly shiny armor and swords (which always looks fake an irritating) and the man is in a believable pose with believable features. As mentioned above, the armor is very interesting and its what draws me in to the piece most.
Well done -- "Distorting your sense of abuse" Thank you!

Yeah, doing metal arms and armor in 3D is a pain and a half. I've never done one like that that I really like, that looks like metal without being chrome. -- Yea, though I walk through Fanfiction.Net, I will fear no stupidity, for my Back button is with me. *FoodIsArt *dazclub *ProjectComment Nice work, I like the armour and its colouring while the background is very well made.
